Societe Generale is hiring for the role of Specialist Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Independently design components, develop code, and create test case scenarios using software craftsmanship principles to meet acceptance criteria
- Complete assigned learning paths and actively participate in team ceremonies such as Agile practices and chapter meetings
- Deliver all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) aligned with Agile methodologies and IT craftsmanship principles
- Write high-quality, clean, and reusable code and designs
- Collaborate with other development teams to define and implement APIs and data access rules
- Ensure timely communication with customers, stakeholders, and partners
- Identify and assess areas for production improvement, especially recurring issues
- Perform daily production checks and maintain required operational standards and processes
- Suggest automation opportunities for repetitive and routine production activities
- Conduct bug-free release validations and generate related metrics, test results, and defect reports
- Help develop and enforce team guidelines and best practices
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support as needed
- Enhance data model coverage, maintain data dictionaries, and uphold standards for data pipelines and metadata management for better reuse and extensibility
Requirements:
- Core Java (8+) : Raw Requirements to Code,
- Sql: Strong Skills in Data Analysis,including Querying and Data Retrieval.
- Github : Code Management (end to End)
- Jenkins : Release Management / Version Management (jar File)
- Springboot : Creating Advanced Java Apps (api, Microservices..Et Al)
- Shell Scripting : Read (or) Modify Bigger Files.. Et Al.,
- Java 17
- Sonarqube : Code Quality Monitoring
- Docker / Kubernetes : Container & Deployment
