UI / UX Designer

Persist Ventures is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic, remote team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the user experience of innovative products, blending UI/UX design with graphic design and animation. You will play a critical role in creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that drive user engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, user journeys, and user feedback.
• Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Design and deliver user interfaces optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to iterate and improve designs.

Skills and Qualifications

Core Skills:

• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Solid knowledge of design principles, including typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
