Details
We are looking for a Unica Junior Campaign Developer with 2-3 years of experience to assist in developing and executing data-driven marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in HCL Unica Campaign, strong SQL skills, and an understanding of customer segmentation and campaign automation. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support campaign execution, optimization, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Development & Execution
- Design and build multi-channel marketing campaigns using HCL Unica Campaign.
- Develop audience segmentation and execute batch/trigger-based campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and web channels.
- Ensure smooth execution of campaign workflows and troubleshoot errors.
Data Management & Segmentation
- Extract and manipulate customer data for campaign targeting.
- Work with structured/unstructured data and apply segmentation logic.
- Support data integration between Unica and external systems (CRM, DWH, APIs).
Campaign Automation & Optimization
- Assist in setting up automated workflows and event-based marketing triggers.
- Optimize flowchart performance to improve execution efficiency.
- Ensure data quality and campaign accuracy through testing and validation.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and generate basic reports.
- Assist in A/B testing, audience analysis, and response tracking.
- Support data-driven decision-making to improve campaign effectiveness.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with marketing, IT, and analytics teams to align campaign objectives.
- Document campaign processes, learnings, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to enhance campaign execution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 2-3 years in campaign development, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on Unica experience (not mandatory)
- SQL & Data Skills: Ability to write queries, extract data, and work with relational databases.
- Marketing Automation: Understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and multi-channel marketing.
- Analytical Mindset: Basic knowledge of campaign performance tracking and reporting.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot campaign execution issues.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
- The candidate should have experience with marketing automation and campaign management tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Adobe Campaign, MoEngage, CleverTap, Braze, and Acoustic Campaign. Familiarity with HubSpot, Marketo, or Eloqua is preferred but not mandatory.
