Hit Rewind

Remember the time when you used to watch animated cartoon movies, read comics, played tic tac toe and hopscotch. Been a long time right? EMC brings to you ‘Hit Rewind’, a highly interactive quiz competition taking you through the journey of your childhood once again.

Round 1 (Elimination Round)

• The quiz will be based on a variety of things you did and experienced in your childhood ranging from cartoons to rhymes, from comics to nostalgic snacks.
• The participants will be provided with a Google Form and the form should be submitted after every 3 questions.

Round 2 (Final Round)

• Top scorers from Round 1 will be qualified to Round 2 of Hit Rewind which will revolve around all movies to fandom series from the 2000s.
• This round will be a buzzer round.
• The participants are required to type ‘Team Name’ in the chatbox to answer the question.

Rules:

Round 1 (Duration: 1 Hour)

1. Only one person from each team should submit the Google Form.
2. You are required to answer the question within the specified time frame.
3. You will be given 10 seconds for each question.
4. No marks will be awarded to all the 3 questions if the form is submitted late.
5. Scorestreak for each set of 3 questions:
   1. Question1: 3 points
   2. Question2: 5points
   3. Question3: 7 points

Round 2 (Duration: 30 Minutes)

1. Only one person from each team can call the buzzer to answer.
2. The time limit to answer each question after calling the buzzer will be 10 seconds.
3. Scorestreak for each question:
   1. 20 points for a correct answer within the time frame
   2. -10 points if answered wrong
   3. -5 points if not able to answer within the time frame (who called the buzzer first)
   4.  5 points will be given for the passed question
4. If the participant is unable to answer, the question will be given to the next team.
5. Interrupting another participant will lead to immediate disqualification. 
6. All the answers should be given within the allotted time.

Immediate Disqualification:

1. Unavailability in joining the event at the allotted time.
2. Usage of any type of abusive language or any other form of inappropriate behavior will not be entertained.
3. EMC’s decision will be final and binding.
