Preliminary Round Phase 1

Phase 1 of the National Economics Olympiad will take place on 7th December 2024, providing participants with the first opportunity to attempt the exam. The marking scheme and difficulty level for this phase are identical to those of Phase 2, ensuring fairness across both options. Participants who choose to attempt this round must log in to Unstop during the specified time window, as the exam will only be available during that period. Please note that participants can attempt only one of the two phases; attempting Phase 1 will make you ineligible for Phase 2. Your responses from this round will be considered for evaluation and subsequent stages.

Preliminary Round Phase 2

Phase 2 of the National Economics Olympiad, scheduled for 12th January 2025, is the second and final opportunity to take the exam. The marking scheme and difficulty level for this phase are identical to those of Phase 1, ensuring consistency in evaluation. This round is exclusively for participants who did not attempt Phase 1 on 7th December. Only one of the two phases can be attempted, and participants who have already taken the exam in Phase 1 will be ineligible for this round. Ensure you log in to Unstop during the specified time window to complete your attempt, as this will be your last chance to participate in Round I.
