About the Opportunity

Think you’ve got the tactical brain of a manager and the skills of a pro on the controller?

Roulette is where FIFA stops being just a game and starts feeling like a real club challenge. This isn’t a standard FIFA tournament. It’s a Marketing × Esports showdown, where how you build your team and brand matters just as much as how you perform on the console.

Teams don’t just play matches — they pitch to sponsors, earn budgets, bid in live auctions, and then take those decisions onto the pitch. Outthink rivals off the pitch, outplay them on it.

Event Details

• Dates: 8th – 10th March 2026
• Mode: Hybrid (Online + Offline)
• Venue: MPSTME, NMIMS – Mumbai
• Eligibility: Open to college students from the Mumbai region only
• Gameplay: Played on standardized gaming consoles (details shared with shortlisted teams)

Event Flow

Round 1: The Kick-Off (Online Elimination)

Format: Online Quiz

This is the gateway round. Test your football knowledge and game sense to earn a place in the elite bracket.

• Only registered Mumbai-region teams are eligible
• Top 16 teams qualify for offline rounds
• Only qualified teams will be considered for Round 2

Round 2: The Front Office (Sponsorship Panel + Live Auction)

Participants: Top 16 Qualified Teams

This round decides everything before a single match is played.

• Teams pitch their club identity, vision, and ambition to a Sponsorship Panel
• Stronger pitches earn additional virtual budget
• Teams then enter a live player auction, using their final budget to build squads

Every bid, pitch, and decision directly impacts how strong your team will be in the final stage.

Round 3: The Showdown (Console Tournament)

Format: Offline Knockout

Participants: Same Top 16 Teams

No preset squads. No shortcuts.

Teams compete using only the players secured through the auction, battling through a high-pressure knockout tournament to crown the champions of Roulette.

Rules

• Open only to college students from the Mumbai region
• Team of 2 members from the same college
• Only registered teams are eligible to compete
• Top 16 teams from the online quiz qualify for offline rounds
• Only qualified teams advance to Sponsorship Panel, Auction, and Tournament
• Squads must be built only through the live auction
• Use of personal or pre-built teams is not allowed
• Matches are played on standardized gaming consoles
• Gameplay format is 1v1
• Any misconduct leads to immediate disqualification
• Organizer decisions are final and binding
