World Environment Day Quiz 2025

Sewamo Enterprises LLP - a Government-funded (NITI Aayog) startup presents the "World Environment Day quiz" open to all.

The questions will be about the environment around us, brands, business and people who are making a difference to the environment through their efforts and of-course questions picked from the content posted on the Instagram account of Sewamo (@sewamomag).

Interestingly, apart from exciting cash prizes, the participants finishing in the Top 50 are eligible to win INR 1,000 Sewacation discount if they decide to avail a Sewacation trip to beaches near Mumbai.   

The quiz has been put together by the team @The Qurious Qompany - a knowledge initiative of Sewamo.

Format of the Quiz:

• The quiz is open to all.
• The quiz will consist of 2 rounds - both online.
• The preliminary round - will be held online on Unstop.
• The final round will be hosted on Zoom/Google Meet.
• The type of questions will be a mix of multiple-choice, connect questions, one/two word answer questions, audio-visual questions etc.
• The cash prizes are payable only if the minimum completed registrations reach 100! If less than that, cash prize would be given out only to the highest scorer of the quiz.

What is Sewacation:

• It is a new way to vacation, with a purpose. You get to enjoy beach-side adventures alongwith the chance to contribute to the environment and sustianable practices by being part of beach cleanups, cleaning challenges and more! All this while while networking with like-minded ambitious women from all-over India! 
• Sewacation team has conducted beach cleanups across various beaches in Mumbai, Alibaug and Patna engaging 300+ people across colleges and corporate employees.
• Depending on the preferences of interested women participants, we offer Sewacation (a 1/2 night stay at a 3/4/5 star accommodation alongwith juvenating beach cleanups). We also offer Sewacleanup (a 2-3 hr beach cleanup activity interspersed with games, yoga sessions and cleaning challenges). 
• Since Mumbai would be a base location for Sewacation/Sewacleanup , women coming in from outside Mumbai would have to bear their own travel expenses in addition to Sewacation costs.
• The costs of availing a Sewacation will be shared with interested participants as declared above (Top 50), if interested. The Sewacation discount won by the participants can be availed  against the overall Sewacation costs per participant.

Rules:

• This is an individual event.
• No negative marking. So give everything a shot!
• Participants will be able to skip questions and come back and attempt them later within the time limit of the quiz.
• Depending on the difficulty level of the questions, there might be higher points for some questions.
• Multiple entries are not permitted. Let’s play fair!
• The Qurious Qompany team will ensure that questions are non-Googleable to ensure fairness and a good experience for all of you!
• Judges’ decision: The decision of The Qurious Qompany & Sewamo team shall be final and binding.
• Duration for Round 1 (Prelims) - 20 mins
• Duration for Round 2 (Finals) -    45 mins
