About The Program:

DOA Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Directorate of Art, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to economically weaker sections of society in the state who are admitted to professional courses. Selected students will receive a reimbursement of up to 100% of tuition and exam fees.

Eligibility:

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be a Domicile of Maharashtra
• Belong to The Ews (economically Weaker Section) Category
• Be Enrolled in A Professional Course at A Government/non-Government Aided/partially Aided-Unaided/permanent Unaided College or Non-Agricultural University and Sub-Centres (excluding Private Universities/self-Financed Private Universities) Under the Directorate of Art
• Have Taken Admission Under the General Category
• Have a Family Income of Up to ₹8,00,000
• Not Availed of Any Other Scholarship or Stipend
• Not Have an Educational Gap of Two Years

Note: Candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State and Karnataka state border are also eligible to apply for the scheme.

Benefits:

• Income Limit: Up to ₹2,50,000

  • Tuition Fees:
    • Government: 100%
    • Non-government aided: 100%
    • Partially aided: 50%
    • Permanent aided: 50%
  • Exam Fees:
    • No mention of coverage for exam fees under this income limit.

• Income Limit: ₹2,50,000 to ₹8,00,000

  • Tuition Fees:
    • 50% coverage for all types of institutions.
  • Exam Fees:
    • 50% coverage for all types of institutions.
