All that you need to know about L'Oréal India For Young Women In Science Scholarships

L'Oréal India invites applications for the L'Oréal India for Young Women in Science Scholarships 2024-25 from young women who have passed Class 12 and wish to pursue higher education in science. The scholarships will be awarded to promising young women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Selected scholars will receive financial aid to cover college fees for UG, PG, and PhD in any scientific field, including Pure Sciences, Life Sciences, Applied Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, Cosmetology, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacology, and more, at a recognized college or university in India.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate (any year) degree in a science-related field.
  • Applicants must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream.
  • Open to female students only.
  • Applicants must have secured a minimum of 85% marks in Class 12.
  • Applicants’ annual family income should be less than INR 6,00,000.
  • Students from PAN India can apply.
  • Children of employees of L'Oréal India and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Documents Required:

  • Proof of identity and address (Aadhaar card, Passport, Voter’s ID Card, etc.)
  • Self-attested copy of parents’ income proof (anyone):
    • Income certificate issued by a Government Body
    • Salary slip issued by the permanent employer.
    • Form 16 (Income Tax Return form)
  • Photo of Class 10th and 12th original mark sheets.
  • Available semester/year mark sheet.
  • Proof of admission at current institution (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card)
  • Expenses receipts to be taken for the current academic year
  • Certificates for science-related extracurricular activities (if applicable)
  • Statement of Purpose (SoP)
  • Recent passport-sized photograph
