All that you need to know about Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child 2017-18
University Grants Commission (UGC) invites applications for Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child 2017-18 from single girl child who happens to be an only child or twin not more than 30 years and got admission in PG 1st year regular. The objective of the scheme is to support single girl child to pursue postgraduate courses only.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Girl student must be up to the age of 30 years at the time of admission.
- Girl student must be the only child of the family.
- Girl child who has taken admission in regular, full-time first-year postgraduate course is eligible for the scholarship.
Award details:
- Candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 3100 per month for a period of 2 years only.
- No other additional grant will be paid in terms of fellowship to the candidate.
