About the Scholarship:
Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Gujarat 2021-22 is an initiative for SC students of Gujarat studying in graduation to postgraduation level. The key objective of the scholarship is to ensure the economic welfare and empowerment of students belonging to backward classes of society.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Belong to the Scheduled Caste category
- Be a permanent resident of Gujarat state
- Be studying in Graduation to Postgraduation from a recognized college, university, or institute
- Have an annual family income of not more than INR 2.5 lakhs from all sources
- Should not have failed any class more than once
- Students who pursued their studies through correspondence courses are also eligible. The term correspondence includes distance and continuing education.
Funding Value: The award amount can vary according to the class in which the applicant is studying.
