S R Jindal Scholarship Scheme

The Sitaram Jindal Foundation (SJF) was established in 1969 as a charitable institution and one of the most sought-after international NGOs in Bangalore with the humanitarian aim of serving the poor and downtrodden in various fields. Following the inspiring ideas and values of its chief architect and founder, Dr. Sitaram Jindal, the foundation has been promoting and providing basic needs of the people across various segments of the society in various fields including education, healthcare and rural development without discrimination of caste, creed, gender, and religion.

Eligibility:

• Student of class 11 or 12 or pursuing  ITI, diploma, graduation, or postgraduation.
• Should fulfill eligibility of percentage marks in their previous class/ year.

Funding Value and Benefits:

• Scholars of classes 11 and 12 will receive INR 500 per month.
• The candidates pursuing an ITI diploma will receive an amount of INR 500 per month (for government or government-aided ITIs) and an amount of INR 700 per month (for private ITIs).
• Those pursuing graduation-level courses will receive an amount up to INR 1000 per month.
• Those pursuing post-graduation level courses will receive an amount up to INR 1200 per month.
• Scholars pursuing diploma courses will receive an amount of INR 1000 per month (for girls) and INR 800 per month (for boys).
• Those pursuing medical/engineering courses will receive scholarship funding of INR 2,000 per month.
