State Technical Scholarship for ST Students, Nagaland (2025–26)

The State Technical Scholarship for ST Students, Nagaland 2025–26 is an initiative of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Nagaland, aimed at supporting Scheduled Tribe (ST) students pursuing technical and higher education. The scholarship provides an annual book grant to help ease the financial burden on deserving students enrolled in diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate technical programs.

This scheme is designed to encourage academic growth among ST students, ensuring that financial limitations do not become a barrier to accessing quality technical education.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must:

• Be an Indian citizen and a domicile of Nagaland
• Belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
• Be pursuing a diploma, undergraduate (BE/B.Tech), or postgraduate (ME/M.Tech) technical course
• Be enrolled in an engineering/architecture institution approved by AICTE or COA
• Have an annual family income ≤ ₹8,00,000
• Not be receiving any other State/Central Government scholarship or AICTE scholarship

Benefits: Selected students will receive an annual book grant for the duration of their course:

• 3 years – Diploma programs
• 4 years – Degree programs (BE/B.Tech)
• 2 years – Postgraduate programs (ME/M.Tech)

Note: Students must have an Aadhaar-seeded bank account for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

• ST Caste certificate
• Admission fee receipt
• Parent’s income certificate
• Indigenous inhabitant certificate
• Bank passbook (front page)
• Previous academic marksheet & admit card
• Passport-size photograph
• Bonafide/Institute verification certificate signed by the head of institution

How to Apply

• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
• Click on ‘Register’ and enter required details.
• Go to State Technical Scholarship → Apply.
• Register using your Aadhaar/bank-linked mobile number to receive OTP.
• Enter OTP → Click ‘Verify OTP’.
• Complete the registration form.
• Fill required details, upload documents, and submit the application.

Selection Criteria: Candidates will be selected based on merit in their last qualifying examination.
