How to Join:
- Register: Sign up using the provided registration link (to be shared during promotion).
- Technical Requirements: Ensure access to a Google Meet-compatible device and a Figma account (free version sufficient).
- Participation: Attend all three 1–1.5 hour virtual sessions via Google Meet, engage via chat and polls, and submit the mini project to bootcamp@rablo.in within 24 hours of Day 3 for a participation certificate.
- Skill Assessment: Mini project submissions are evaluated for waivers toward the bootcamp’s paid training program.
What Would Your 3 Days Look Like?
Day 1: Employability Gap & Design Inspiration (1–1.5 Hours):
- Discuss the employability gap: Lack of practical skills, portfolio quality, and tool proficiency (e.g., Figma, Jira) in UI/UX job markets.
- Validate the gap via Polly polls and chat.
- Introduce the mini project: Replicate a single-page UI design with dynamic multi-state components.
- Train on selecting inspiration: Evaluate designs for visual appeal, development feasibility, and scalability.
- Demo: Show a sample design selection process in Figma using the facilitator’s workspace.
Day 2: Scalable Design & Low-Fidelity Training (1–1.5 Hours):
- Explain scalable design: Use of Auto Layout, Fill/Hug settings, and reusable components for responsive interfaces.
- Cover design ethics: Accessibility, user-centricity, and avoiding misleading UI patterns.
- Hands-on demo: Create a low-fidelity wireframe in Figma.
- Mini project task: Develop the low-fidelity version using Auto Layout and standard tokens.

Day 3: High-Fidelity Design & Bootcamp Overview (1–1.5 Hours):

Performance-Based Waiver & Evaluation:
- Mini Project Submission: Email Figma project link to bootcamp@rablo.in within 24 hours of Day 3 using the subject line: “Workshop Submission – [Your Name]”.
Evaluation Criteria (30 Points):
- Documentation (4 points): Format, explanation, logical accuracy, details.
- Low-Fidelity Design (5 points): Replication, structure, navigation, content representation, element placement.
- High-Fidelity Design (13 points): Visual aesthetics, consistency, responsiveness, scalability, alignment, spacing, variants, reusability, management, layer organization, hierarchy, descriptive names, naming consistency.
- General Performance & Sincerity (8 points): Deadline met, participation, collaboration, punctuality, attendance, leadership, SOP adherence, no absences.
Outcomes:
- Receive a participation certificate upon submitting the mini project.
- Gain a detailed evaluation report outlining strengths and weaknesses.
- Earn potential fee waivers based on mini project scores.
- Develop practical UI/UX skills in Figma including wireframing and prototyping.
