The Department of Computational Intelligence, School of Computing, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), is excited to present a Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on “Building Smart Solutions: Hands-on IoT and AI at the Edge” – a five-day hands-on learning initiative designed to bridge the gap between theory and practical implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

This training programme is curated to empower students, researchers, and faculty with real-time skills in IoT, Edge Computing, and Artificial Intelligence, culminating in a final project showcase of smart solutions.

• Day 1 – Orientation & Sensor Fundamentals
  Kickstart with fundamentals of sensors, microcontrollers, and their real-world applications.
• Day 2 – IoT Foundations & Data Acquisition
  Understand IoT frameworks and get hands-on with data acquisition techniques.
• Day 3 – Edge Computing & Data Processing
  Learn how to process data closer to the source using edge devices.
• Day 4 – AI Applications & Integration
  Integrate artificial intelligence models into edge-based solutions.
• Day 5 – Project Showcase & Closing Ceremony
  Present your innovative smart solution built during the programme.
