Day 1
Introductory Session To Electric Mobility
Day 2
Hands On with Electric Vehicles.
All that you need to know about Ev Workshop
Ev Workshop: A Session on Electric Vehicles:
An Ev Workshop Is a session focused on electric vehicles (EVs), covering topics like their design, components (motors, batteries, charging systems), assembly, and maintenance. It often includes hands-on activities, insights into industry trends, sustainability benefits, and the economic and policy aspects of EVs. These workshops aim to educate participants on EV technology and its role in promoting sustainable mobility.
Guidelines:
To make the most of the workshop and maximize your learning, please ensure the following:
- Registration:
- Participants must register online/offline before the deadline.
- Limited seats; selection on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Code of Conduct:
- Arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the workshop begins.
- Maintain discipline and adhere to workshop timelines.
- Any disruptive behaviour may lead to disqualification.
- Hardware/Software Requirements:
- Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops with MATLAB (Student Version) and SolidWorks (Student Version) pre-installed (if required).
- Queries and Interaction:
- Questions should be asked in designated Q&A slots.
- Participants should follow the instructor’s guidelines during hands-on sessions.
- Event Registration Policy:
- If a participant is registered for two or more events that occur simultaneously, it is their responsibility to manage their schedule and commitments. The event organizers cannot be held liable for any conflicts in the timing or participation. We encourage participants to review event schedules carefully before registering to ensure they can attend all chosen events without overlap.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to students and professionals from any field with an interest in automobiles and technology.
- Individual registration is mandatory for participation.
Event Format:
Day 1: Introduction to EV Technology, Its Future Aspects, and Development
Key Topics on Day 1:
- Basic principles of Electric Vehicles (EVs)
- Types of EVs (BEV, PHEV, HEV) and their components
- The future of EV technology and global sustainability goals
- Challenges in EV development, such as battery technology, range anxiety, and infrastructure
Day 2: Practical Demonstrations & Simulations Using Simulation Software
Key Topics on Day 2:
- Introduction to EV simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, etc.)
- Simulating EV battery performance, charging cycles, and energy efficiency
- Designing and testing EV powertrains and motors using simulation tools
- Real-world analysis of EV system simulations, optimizing performance
- Integration of battery, motor, and powertrain models to create a complete EV simulation
Why Participate:
Participating in an EV (Electric Vehicle) workshop is an excellent opportunity to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving automotive industry. It offers valuable insights into the latest EV technologies, sustainable practices, and the future of transportation. Whether you're an enthusiast, a professional, or simply curious, the workshop provides hands-on experience, expert knowledge, and a chance to network with like-minded individuals. - The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) felt the need to set up a national institute devoted only for IT, Design and Manufacturing.
- Hence, they established the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur in January 2005.
- The main aim of the institute is to promote excellence in the desired areas of specialization and would facilitate the competitive advantage of Indian products and manufacturing at the global platform.
- The institute serves as an inter-disciplinary institution for research and education by keeping the concept of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) in mind.
- Strong industry interface and close cooperation with various other academic and research institutions are the key characteristics of the institute.
Values of IIITDM Jabalpur
In planning for its future as well as for conducting its ongoing activities, the Institute acts in a manner that is guided by a deep-rooted sense of shared aspirations and values. Built upon such a foundation, the Institute:
- Honors and rewards high performance in teaching, learning, research, scholarship, and creative activities by encouraging intellectual curiosity and protecting the multiple expressions of academic freedom.
- Seeks to provide an environment conducive to imaginative innovation, experimentation, and creativity by encouraging all members of the academic community to take creative and intellectual risks and to embrace changes that will enhance the fulfillment of the Institute’s mission.
