From Novice to Innovator: IoT workshop at your fingertips

Welcome to the annual tech fest, ATMOS, at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus! The Phoenix Association is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for tech enthusiasts, students, and engineers to dive into the world of the Internet of Things (IoT). We are proud to organize this IoT workshop in collaboration with Robotech Labs, where you'll discover the world of interconnected devices and cutting-edge technology. 

Event Highlights:  

  • Hands-on Experience: Get ready to dive into the world of IoT through practical, hands-on sessions. Learn to build and program IoT devices, setting the foundation for your journey into this dynamic field.
  • Expert Guidance: Our team of experienced faculty will guide you through the intricacies of IoT. They will share their knowledge, insights, and best practices in this ever-evolving field.
  • Real-world Applications: Explore the practical applications of IoT across various industries, from smart homes and healthcare to agriculture and transportation. Understand how IoT is transforming the way we live and work.
  • Innovative Projects: Witness some of the most innovative IoT projects in action. From smart cities to environmental monitoring, you'll be inspired by the possibilities of IoT technology.

Our projects include: 

  • Voice-controlled home automation 
  • Data logging system 
  • Weather monitoring station 
  • Intrusion alert system 

Who Should Attend: 

This workshop is open to students, tech enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the IoT landscape. No prior experience is required; we welcome beginners and experts alike. If you're eager to explore the future of connected devices and the limitless potential they hold, this event is for you. 

More specifications: 

  • You will be provided with the learning kit which includes manuals, study material, and a take-away kit.
  • Get your participation certificate after the workshop. 

Kit contents:

  • NodeMCU 
  • Temperature Sensor 
  • IR Sensor Module 
  • Screw Driver 
  • NodeMCU Cable 
  • M2M Connectors 
  • M2F Connectors 
  • Relay Module 
  • Breadboard 
  • LED’s 
  • Each team must have at least one laptop.

Each of the team members should purchase the course individually on the Unstop site. And one of the team members needs to fill out the Google form.

Date and Location: 

  • 3rd November F208,  
  • 4th November- F207

Timings: From 10 am to 4 pm on both days. 

Fee details: 

  • For a team of 1: Rs 2000/- 
  • For a team of 4: Rs 1000/- per person 

Note:  Only one kit will be provided for each team irrespective of the number of participants in that team.
