6. FCFF & Reverse DCF

Third Week: Valuation Analysis

1. Trading comparables analysis
2. Precedent transaction comparables
3. Discounted cash flow analysis
4. Dividend discount model
5. Understanding “Football field” chart
6. Sum-of-the-parts valuation
7. Holding company valuation
8. Understanding Valuation Approaches
9. Trading Comparable and Relative Valuation

Fourth Week: Project Submission & Review

1. Individual submission of the financial model on mentor-assigned firm
2. Certificate, LOR, and detailed Feedback sessions with your assigned corporate mentor

Project Allocation:

Core Equity Research, Financial Modeling, and Investment Banking projects will be allocated to the students by corporate mentors with handholding support to build dashboards and industry-level complex financial models

These projects will be done in the mentorship of corporate mentors & review meetings will be held to provide valuable feedback & roadmap to the students. Students will understand the business problems and would require to do research, drive insights, conceptualize the solutions, and recommendations, and at the end of the project, present the solutions/model/report to the mentor for evaluation & feedback.
