Webinar: Future of Bureaucracy in India

Encouraged from these lines quoted by James Boren, B.A. Programme Association, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi is going to host a webinar on “Future of Bureaucracy."

We are honoured to have Mr. Vibhuti Narain Rai IPS (retd.) as our guest speaker. He is an IPS officer of the 1975 batch. He was the Director-General U.P. Police. He later served as Vice-Chancellor of a central university - Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha, Maharashtra.

He runs one of the country's most active NGOs in eastern U.P. He has done a master's in English Litt. from Allahabad University, joined the Indian Police Services, and served in many sensitive districts. Having served in the Kashmir Valley in the 1990s operations, he earned President's Police Medal for Distinguished Services and Police Medal for Meritorious Services.

Rai published novels and books like Shahar Mein Curfew, Tabadala Fence Ke Us Par, Andhi Surang Mein Kashmir, Hashimpura 22 May, etc.

Apart from the central theme of “Future of Bureaucracy," we will be having deep insights on some of  the hard news revolving “Rural-Urban Empowerment" and "Despite the recruitment of a good number of IAS every year, why the roots of India ain't developing with the same pace."
