All that you need to know about Consularium - The Consulting Event
“It is better to solve one problem five different ways than to solve five problems one way.”DoMS IIT Madras presents to you CONSULARIUM,a consultation exercise that gauges a participant's capacity for strategic, logical thinking, and problem-solving. Participants will be required to propose unique and workable ideas.
Guidelines:
- This event is open to all college students
- Team members should be from the same institute
- A team must consist of 3 students
- A student cannot be part of more than one team
- There is no limit to the number of entries that can be received from a particular institute
- Each team can submit only one entry for the competition
- Eliminator Quiz will be conducted on October 15,2022 22:00 hrs
- Selected Participants will be asked to submit their Case Study on October 22 , 2022 23:00 hrs
- Final Round is the Case Study presentation to be held on November 3-6 2022 at DoMS IIT Madras

About Department of Management Studies (DoMS), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras
- DoMS IIT Madras came into existence in the year 2004.
- The Department of Management Studies was established to provide an individual institution for the MBA course which was already running in IIT Madras since 2001.
- It is the first IIT to open its doors to enthusiasts from streams other than engineering such as B.A, B.Sc. & B.Com. in 2013. Besides the MBA program, the department has research programs at the Master’s (MS) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) levels, an MS (Entrepreneurship) program and an Executive MBA program for the middle and senior level executives.
- The IIT Madras Research Park is an independent company promoted by IIT Madras and its alumni. The IIT Madras Research Park promotes research and development by the Institute. This is done in partnership with the industry and also assists in the growth of new ventures and hence, promotes economic development.
- IITM Incubation Cell (llTM-lC), a not-for-profit organization, is the umbrella for nurturing and overseeing innovation and entrepreneurship at IIT Madras.
- DoMS’ management programs have received international acceptance. In addition, student exchanges have also been very active in their graduate programs. They have Joint Doctoral Programme (JDP) with Curtin University - Australia, University of Technology Sydney - Australia, and University of Passau - Germany where scholars spend one to two years at the partner institutes to earn their joint doctoral degree from both IIT Madras and partner universities.
- The Department has highly qualified and dedicated faculty from a range of functional areas of management and also has some of the best researchers in the country.
