  • Plan PV system configurations based on customer needs and site conditions
  • Measure, cut, and assemble the support structure for solar PV panels

3. Home health aides and personal care aides

Home health and personal aids help people with disabilities, chronic illness, or cognitive impairment. They do so by assisting them carrying out their daily activities. So, what are their responsibilities?

  • Assisting clients in their personal tasks and activities such as bathing or dressing.
  • Housekeeping, such as laundry, washing dishes, and vacuuming.
  • Helping the client with their schedule and appointments.
  • Arranging transportation for hospitals, offices and other outings.
  • Shopping for groceries, essentials and prepare meals to meet a client’s dietary specifications.

4. Physical therapist aides

Physical therapy aides are the members of physical therapy support teams. They work under the supervision of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Their job is to perform nonmedical tasks, cleaning treatment rooms and helping patients.

5. Self-enrichment teacher

Their job is to teach individuals with an aim of self-enrichment, rather than for an occupational objective, educational attainment, or any kind of competition.

6. Computer numerically controlled tool programmers

They are also known as CNC workers and their job is to develop programs to control machining or processing of materials by automatic machine tools or systems.

Responsibilities

  • Writing programs in the language of the machine's controller.
  • Storing programs on media such as punch tapes, magnetic tapes, or disks.
  • Determining the order of machine operations to choose the proper cutting tools.
  • Checking programs in order to eliminate errors and debugging. 

According to some reports, roles such as physical therapy assistants, physical therapy aids, personal care aides and other healthcare related jobs will see a rise as people are increasingly becoming dependent on these services due to higher rates of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, stress and cholesterol. On the other hand, self-enriching teachers are also in great demand. Thanks to the pandemic, many people have realised how self-care is so much more important than just making money. More and more people are investing in pursuing their passions and hobbies to reduce stress, anxiety and lead a happy-healthy life. Hence, considering these jobs can be wise if you don’t want to invest in higher education.
