National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) internships are available for Post Graduate students. The application window for the same is open till 5 March 2021. The objective of the NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) is to assign short-term tasks/projects/studies relevant to NABARD to talented students who have completed the first year of post-graduation in certain specific fields.
The total number of seats available for NABARD internship scheme 2021-22 is 75 which includes 65 seats for Regional Offices/TEs & 10 seats for Head Office.
Eligibility criteria
Students pursuing a post-graduate degree (having completed the first year) in Agriculture and allied disciplines (Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.), Agribusiness, Economics, Social Sciences and Management from Institutes/Universities of repute or students pursuing 5 years integrated courses including Law are eligible for SIS 2021-22
No TA/DA will be paid to the students appearing for the Interview.

- Projects supported under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), Long Term Irrigation Fund (LTRF), Warehouse Infrastructure Fund, Food Processing Fund, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Direct Refinance Assistance to cooperative Banks, Credit facility federations, Green Climate Fund, etc.
- Development Initiatives undertaken under Watershed Projects, Spring - shed Watershed Development Programmes, TDF projects, skill development programs such as LEDP, MEDP and others, UPNRM projects, Off-Farm Development projects and supports, and any other areas of NABARD’s reach.
