“CEO for One Month” run by the Adecco Group is a unique opportunity in more than 40 countries that provides candidates to live the life of a CEO for a month in their country of residence. Top 10 performers are then shortlisted from the batch of participating candidates, out of which one is chosen to become global CEO for One Month.

Applications for the 2022 edition of ‘CEO for One Month’ opened on January 24, 2022 and will close on April 15, 2022.

How to apply for Adecco “CEO for One Month” Program?

Candidates can apply to become CEO for One Month by completing the application form on this website.

  • Candidates will be asked to provide some basic contact information. 
  • Within a week after the application is confirmed, candidates will receive a follow up email with instructions on how they can edit their applications in case they want to make any changes to it, and also how they can share your CV (resume) with the company. 

Though sharing the CV is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. 

What is Adecco “CEO of the Month”?

The Adecco Group offers one of the most distinctive and unique opportunities to become the “CEO” of Adecco Company in respective countries.In the last 7 years, almost 300 candidates have had this amazing opportunity. As part of Adecco’s drive to help young people, Adecco's “CEO for One Month” initiative offers the chance to develop and showcase leadership potential, to learn what it takes to succeed as a business leader and to acquire the skills and the experience needed to get one’s foot on the career ladder.

How does “CEO of the Month” work?

“CEO for One Month” runs in more than 40 countries, where the first step will be for candidates to apply to become CEO for One Month in their country of residence. With around 200,000 applicants each year, each country participating will select a candidate to shadow the Adecco Group's country-level CEO for one full month, working side-by-side to experience the life of a senior business leader. 

Out of all those candidates, 10 Top Performers are shortlisted. And then one is chosen to become the global CEO for One Month, under the direct supervision of the CEO of the Adecco Group, Alain Dehaze.

The selected global CEO for One Month will get a taste of how to run a multinational company with 30,000 employees in 60 countries. The highly qualifying experience is a major game changer when it comes to giving a huge boost to your career. It helps young people navigate the world of work, provide guidance on job hunting and provide exceptional work experience, helping in making professional ambitions come true. 

Being a CEO and beyond!

In the last 7 years, almost 300 candidates have had this amazing opportunity. Since the programme’s inception, hundreds of candidates found their home within the Adecco Group after going through their bootcamps or finishing their shadowing. Whether one’s career interest is in IT, HR, data analysis, management or any other field, there is a good chance the programme will help to get inside the Adecco Group or any of its clients or partners!

All of the candidates get the chance to learn something about themselves during the selection process, regardless of whether or not they advance to further rounds!

Through the year, candidates will also be invited to a series of interactive webinars, conducted by expert speakers and programme alumni, through which they can learn more about the programme itself, the world of work and other related subjects.
