Opportunities are everywhere if you only know where to look for it. All the students who have qualified GATE/GPAT can avail AICTE Scholarship 2021- 22 in order to further their career. With a monthly stipend of INR 12,400 per month for the duration of two years or completion of the course, whichever is lower, it will go a long way in providing financial assistance without taking focus away from the studies.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must-
- Have obtained a valid score in the GATE/GPAT examination
- Have taken admission in the 1st year of M.Tech./M.E./M.Pharm/M.Arch. courses at an AICTE recognized institution in the academic year 2021-22
Benefits: The selected students will get a monthly stipend of INR 12,400 per month for the duration of two years or the duration of the course, whichever is lower.

What is the duration of AICTE PG (GATE/GPAT) Scholarship?
The scholarship is tenable for 24 months or for the duration of the course i.e. from the date of commencement of classes till the date of completion of the classes whichever is lower and is not extendable under any circumstances.
Other Entitlements
Students are eligible for following leaves:
- Casual leave : 15 days in an academic year
- Medical leave : Maximum of one month (30 days) in an academic year
- Maternity leave : Candidates are eligible for maternity/ Paternity leave as per Govt. of India norms issued from time to time at full rates of scholarship etc. once during the tenure of their award. However, the maximum duration of scholarship will not be extended in any circumstances.
Required Documents
The following documents are required:
- GATE/GPAT scorecard (Scanned)
- Bank passbook (Scanned)
- Scanned copy of Aadhaar card (Students from J&K, Meghalaya, and Assam are exempted)
- Scanned copy of caste certificate
- Scanned copy of the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate, not more than a year old (only for OBC candidates)

How can you apply for AICTE PG Scholarship?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online through the following steps -
Step 1: Get the institute ID and student ID from the institute.
Step 2: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below and provide the necessary details to validate the student ID.
Step 3: Fill in the application form for PG Scholarship GATE/GPAT.
Step 4: Upload the required documents to the portal in PDF format only.
Step 5: Click on "Submit Application" after completing all the steps.
What is AICTE?
Established in 1945. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), first as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given statutory status by an Act of Parliament is a statutory body, and a national-level council for technical education, under the Department of Higher Education. AICTE is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India.
AICTE has the authority for maintaining the quality of the education as it is vested with the powers of school accreditation.
