Scored less in 10th boards? Worried about your future due to your low grades? Don’t be disheartened, because today we share with you the story of the district magistrate of Bharuch, Gujarat, who almost failed in his class 10 exams but is an IAS Officer today, thanks to his iron will and dedication.
Today, a grade below 90 percent is considered nothing more than average marks, no matter how ridiculous it may sound. Astoundingly, Tushar, who scored only passing marks in his Class 10 exams, went on to become a dutiful IAS Officer in Gujarat.

He was demeaned for his low grades, not only by his classmates and teachers in school but also by the people in his village. It was hard to believe for them that Tushar could achieve something in his life, that he could be a positive light of hope, an inspiration for others. But he did the unthinkable.
Tushar scored 36 out of 100 in Maths, 35 out of 100 in English, and 38 out of 100 in Science. Embracing insults and criticism from people, along with a mark sheet reminding him of his failure, Tushar was determined to do something remarkable in his life.

He got a job as a government teacher, and after teaching for a few years, attempted the UPSC CSE, and in 2012, he cracked the Civil Services Exam.
Fellow IAS Officer Awanish Sharan took to Twitter and shared Tushar’s remarkable feat. Tushar’s success reminds us of one important message - your grades do not define your future, your determination does.
