1. The intern will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as verification, designing self-checking test benches using modern verification techniques
2. Designing verification components such as bus functional models, monitors, and behavioral models
3. Implementation of functional coverage and assertion using System Verilog
4. Developing test and functional coverage plans based on device specifications
5. The candidate will also be responsible for analyzing and debugging simulation failures as well as analyzing functional coverage results

 Requirements and qualifications

The candidates need to meet the following requirements of the company to be considered for the internship at Synopsys:

1. The candidate should be B.Tech/M. Tech from a reputed institute
2. They should have strong Verilog coding and debugging skills
3. They should also have C/C++ or Perl or Python scripting skills
4. Should have knowledge of FPGA architecture and should be comfortable and confident while interacting with architects
5. Should be highly skilled with the knowledge of one or more industry-standard simulation tools like  Synopsys VCS, Verdi
6. They should have a strong understanding of typical design structures such as FIFO’s, pipelines, memories, state machines, etc
