Amazon Future Engineer scholarship is an initiative taken by Amazon, one of the big five IT services companies in the U.S., to provide aid to underserved and underrepresented students in the U.S wanting to pursue computer science in their higher education. As a part of this initiative,100 students will be chosen for the grant from all over the country.

Amazon Future Engineer scholarship will be in the form of a grant worth USD 10,000 per year for four years while pursuing a Computer Science course such as a bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer engineering, or other Computer Science-related courses. The student will also be provided with a 12-week internship at Amazon itself after he/she completes their first year of the course. These interns will then be paired up with other interns, managers, and mentors at Amazon. This will provide them with an opportunity to work on Amazon products and customers through projects such as Alexa voice technology, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and its retail platform.

The registrations for the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship program have begun online on its official website. The last date to apply has been extended from 18 February 2021 to 25 February 2021 (3:00 pm C.T.).
