Atlassian conducts 4 rounds to select freshers as Software Engineers in their organization.

  • Online Round
  • Technical Round-1
  • Technical Round-2
  • HR Round/ Interview

Online Round

The online test was conducted on Hackerrank. The time duration was 90 minutes, and there were 3 problems (50, 75, and 10 marks, respectively). The questions were from topics like arrays, trees, DP, etc.

Technical Round-1

Technical Interview is the next round in their recruitment. There are generally 2 panelists. The earlier questions consisted of information about projects and follow-up questions related to them. Apart from that, some coding questions had to be coded while sharing the screen. The questions also revolved around OS and DBMS, including topics like processes, threads, deadlocks, normalization, relational models, etc.

Technical Round-2

There is a technical round again. This round consists of a single interviewer and is conducted on Zoom. The pattern is more or less the same as the first round. If any topic mentioned above is not covered in the first technical round, it is covered here. Apart from that, problem-solving and data structures are in the limelight during this round.

HR Round/ Interview

Successful candidates proceed to the  HR interview stage with the hiring manager, which typically involves multiple rounds. Interviews may include technical assessments, behavioral questions, and discussions about the candidate's experiences and problem-solving abilities.
