Bajaj Finserv Atom National Finalist JBIMS Mumbai's Shekhar Pawar's Story
I participated in Bajaj Finserv Atom as this was different from the usual case study and solution submission. In this competition, I got to design an actual product for Bajaj. And I couldn't have asked for more.
We split the work amongst ourselves according to our strengths. We conducted a lot of primary as well as secondary research and knew exactly what we were going to present. But the only challenge was we didn't know how to go for it. So, we worked hard and finally, attained our goal.
We were pretty good as a team with almost no conflicts. I believe we were the most confident team in the finale which was also evident from our promotional video and the way we gave our presentation; we were the only team in which each team member presented on the stage. I learnt to stand up to any kind of questions being asked, be it by the CFO or the chairman of the board. I grew in confidence.
After watching all the other presentations, we were sure of the victory. We didn't consider anyone a threat. After the final presentation, all of us were jubilant because we had given our 100%. Though we didn’t get a very clear idea of how they decided the winners, overall, the competition was flawless. We garnered learnings that will stay with us forever. Also, the beautiful moments that we had during this competition will forever be etched in our memory. All in all, we had an amazing experience.
