Hard Work And Determination Bore Fruit!
Prem Kumar is a hard-working student from Gonpura village in Phulwarisharif, Patna. His father being a laborer couldn't provide facilities to Prem for a comfortable study environment. Despite these circumstances, he was determined to study further.
Prem Kumar’s hard work and determination were witnessed by the Bihar branch of Dexterity Global. The organization guided him since he was 14 years of age and this eventually led him to get the D.Y.E.R Fellowship worth INR 2.5 crore from Lafayette College. Prem’s success is more significant because only six students across the world were selected for this scholarship.
The scholarship received by Prem will cover his residence bills, tuition fees, health insurance, books, and travel expenses.
"My parents were unable to attend school. Receiving this scholarship and the opportunity to study abroad is a dream come true for me. The Dexterity Global organization, which works for socially backward children in Bihar, is admirable. It is because of them that I am where I am today. I am happy." Kumar said about being selected for the Scholarship.
Founded by Sharad Vivek Sagar, an alumnus of Tufts University and Harvard University, Dexterity Global is a national organization that aims to enable the young generation of India to redefine education.
