Minimum CAT cut-off for top IIMs and other prestigious institutes

• The exam was successfully conducted at 293 test centers across 154 cities in India on 27th November 2022
• Around 2.22 lakh candidates appeared out of 2.55 lakhs registered eligible candidates. The overall attendance was approximately 87%
• Sticking to the usual format, CAT 2022  had three sections and the break-up of the number of questions was as follows: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)- 24 questions, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)- 20 questions, Quantitative Ability- 22 questions

CAT results are slated to be announced in January 2023. Candidates are shortlisted by the MBA  institutes based on the percentile and ranks attained by them. Proper steps have been defined to calculate the CAT percentile and ranks.

• Previous Academic Record (class 10 and class 12 marks)
• Gender Diversity Factor
• Graduation 
• Work Experience
