India’s largest ship maintenance and shipbuilding facility Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is inviting applications for the post of Project Assistant. Students with a diploma in engineering or a Master's degree in Commerce can apply for the vacancies listed under the CSL Recruitment 2023 notice.

Cochin Shipyard Ltd., located in Kochi, Kerala is instrumental in providing ship-building platforms, supply vessels, and state-of-the-art oil tankers. It is proud to have built India's first-ever indigenous aircraft carrier- the INSVikrant for the Indian Navy.

The upper age limit shall be relaxed for candidates belonging to ST/SC by 05 years while candidates of OBC shall be relaxed by 03 years.

The above posts are temporary in nature and for a maximum period of 03 years subject to project requirements and individual performance.

CSL Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the CSL recruitment shall be under the pattern provided in the table below:

To be selected, candidates belonging to various categories must secure marks both in objective & descriptive tests according to the categorise-wise breakup:

UR posts &EWS candidates - 50 % of the total marks of each test

OBC candidates - 45% of the total marks of each test only for vacancies reserved for OBC

SC/ST candidates - 40 % of the total marks of each test only for vacancies reserved for SC/ST

PwBD candidates - 40 % of the total marks of each test.
