DU’s second cutoff list, a ray of hope for those who scored in the 80s or below

The adrenaline rush and anxieties are always high when a new cut-off list gets released by Delhi University. While seats in a few courses in some colleges of the varsity were filled just after the 100 percent cut-off in the first list itself, the second cut-off list has brought much respite for students who have scored in the 80s or below. As per the records, half of the seats have already been filled from around 70,000 seats available in the varsity. For the remaining half, 5 more cut-off lists are expected to roll out. But to grab the best college before the eleventh hour, we have compiled a list of colleges for you to tap on if you have missed the mark of the 90s. Let’s dive into the pool of possibilities lying before you!

Note: Admissions for the second cut-off list will remain open till October 21, as per the official schedule. And the ones who were looking forward to transferring from one college to another can go ahead with this list!

Science courses

While Physics Honours turn out to be one of the most demanded courses, there are other options available for aspirants at 80 percent or less. Like for BSc Home Science Institute of Home Economics is open at 83% and Lady Irwin College at 86%. With the third cutoff coming up and movement among courses, there are chances of more colleges and courses to be available.

Commerce courses

While BCom Honours is one of the sought after courses in DU, BCom (P) is available by means of the second cutoff for those scoring in the 80s or below. For BCom, the cutoff in Bhagini Nivedita College is 86%, in Mata Sundri College for Women is 89% and in Swami Shraddhanand College is 89.50% making BCom from DU a possibility for those scoring in this range.
