But not Bajrang Yadav, who, despite the brutal murder of his father, went on to secure AIR 454 in the Union Public Service Commission, Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE), 2022.
To be enlisted in the final merit list of the UPSC CSE, one needs preparation that is comprehensive, consistent, and competent. To assuage the monotony of the immense workload ahead, a UPSC aspirant needs unwavering moral, social, and economic support from family and friends. Imagine if these were absent and you had achieved your goal! Yes, here is the story of Bajrang Yadav, who did exactly that in his UPSC CSE 2022!
Enough of talking; let us straight away delve into the story.
AIR 454 Bajrang Yadav: His Family Background
Bajrang Yadav comes from a humble hamlet in the Basti area of Uttar Pradesh. He did his elementary schooling at Urmila Educational Academy in Basti and also went on to complete his secondary education there. After obtaining his degree certificate in mathematics from Allahabad University, Bajrang decided to relocate to Delhi in 2019 in order to start his preparation for the UPSC CSE.
In the midst of his hectic preparation for the examination, an unexpected tragic loss befell his family. His father, who was a humble farmer ever ready to help those in need, was brutally murdered in 2020. It was such a tragic loss that Bajrang never thought of ever giving the CSE in the years to come. So devastating was the loss that it put him in a fix. He lost the man who had been supporting him throughout his preparation.
Bajrang Yadav’s Journey From Tragic Loss To Success
It wasn't until his father was killed that he made the decision to succeed in the UPSC CSE even more strongly and decisively. He made up his mind to prove his mettle as a UPSC officer. Sadly, the financial situation of the family went from bad to worse making it almost next to impossible for Bajrang to pursue coaching.
In that trying moment, he got to know about coaching opportunities being provided by Drishti IAS`s founder, Vikas Divyakirti. Bajrang was fortunate to gain access to a number of free coaching schemes provided through Vikas Divyakirti that eventually helped him clear the UPSC CSE 2022 with AIR 454.
