The Godrej Group is a 121 years old Indian conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai, owned by the Godrej family. Its business is spread across diverse sectors like real estate, consumer products, industrial engineering, appliances, furniture, security and agricultural products.

We come across very few people in our life who supports us to achieve our dreams and the Godrej Group has captured this desire which many aspirants and students have, however, due to the lack of proper resources cannot bring them into reality.

Godrej LOUD has been created to bring all passionate people on board and eventually they may become Passionate Godrejites who can bring in their talents and innovations to the organisation thereby bringing growth both to the conglomerate and the individual.

Godrej LOUD 2017 was held in two rounds- Campus Round and National Round. With the launch of the competition, the Leaders of Godrej Group toured aforementioned 12 B-schools where students submitted their ‘DREAMS’ for the Campus Round. Godrej had received over 1400 responses.

The 12 shortlisted students made to the National Finals where they pitched their Dream to the jury and the only 5 dreams made to the top. The winners of Godrej LOUD 2017 were Viraf Heerjee (SIBM Pune) Kanad Basu (Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar),  Omkar Jadhav (Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi), Saurav Kumar (Institute of Rural Management Anand, Gujarat), Vibhav Bisht (Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune). Each individual winner was awarded INR 150,000 by the Godrej Group.

By organising Godrej LOUD 2017, it sincerely hopes to make us connect with ourselves in a more better way so that we are able to follow our passions and grow by realising them. Godrej believes in 3-point approach i.e., Your Canvas, Tough Love and Whole-self. Being a large conglomerate it gives a wide range of opportunities to paint our canvas in our way. It also puts one in challenging situations to push the preset precincts and mentor one to go a long way. Passionate, rounded individuals with diverse interests make for better Godrejites.

As per the responses received on Dare2Compete Awards, Godrej LOUD 2017 was favoured by students of the B-schools as one of the top 20 the Most Prestigious B-School Competitions of the Year 2018.
