Godrej LOUD 2018 National Finalist Sagar Venkateshwar Nemani's Story
Godrej LOUD 2018 is not your typical corporate competition. Instead of a case study, they ask you to share your dream and how would you achieve it in a certain situation. Dreams are always interesting and you can do a lot with them. This different take has made me enthusiastic and I prepared my mind or to be specific, dreams to do wonders.
It took me over two weeks to complete the submission. The challenging part was to storyboard the idea onto paper since I had to keep the flow of the story, all the while ensuring that the deliverables are met. After that, sketching down the whole thing was a tad easier. Even though it is an individual competition, friends and seniors helped me to ensure that I was bringing out my best.
There was a total of 13 finalists. Everyone was a tough competitor as each had a unique dream and a different perspective. The finale was a totally different experience. The on-ground execution was so smooth that you won't stress out even for a bit that you are competing in a National Finale. The remarkable and interesting moment for me was the surprise video my close family and college friends have sent out, which was played right before my presentation.
I have learnt different perspectives that people bring on to the table. I have learnt to confidently hold an audience through a speech. These learnings will stay with me forever and will definitely help me to achieve great milestones in life. My experience was very enriching. I will carry this tag of Godrej LOUD 2018 finalist throughout my life. That speaks volumes about the experience.
