Everything you need to know about Google Case Challenge 2019
Google is all set to do the spadework with the latest edition of Case Challenge 2019. The competition requires students from the participating business schools in India to compete in teams while buckling up to meet head-on with real-life business case-study challenges, which incorporates the field of digital marketing, product growth & user experience, and hardware sales.
The Case Challenge is open for first and second-year students who are pursuing a full-time two-year flagship management program at a business school.
How many rounds are there in Google Case Challenge 2019?
The Case Challenge is divided into three rounds; Campus Round, Zonal Round, and a National Finale. The language of the competition is English.
Round 1: Campus Round
In order to proceed in this round, a team is required to download a case study. The participating teams must check the eligibility criteria before downloading the case study.
Moreover, a new case study will not be reconsidered after submitting the first one. So, choose carefully.
Also, the teams have to submit the solution of the chosen case study before 19th August 2019, 23:59. The results will be declared on 27th August 2019.
Round 2: Zonal Round
The shortlisted teams from the Campus Round will have to submit a presentation of the solution of the case study, in front of a group of panelists.
Also, all the teams will get 12 minutes to present the solution and 8 minutes for a Q&A session.
The Zonal round will take place in three zones:
- North Zone
- South + East Zone
- West Zone
Moreover, the venue details will be shared with each team by email. The submission deadline for this round is 1st September 2019, 11:59 PM IST. The results will be declared on 7th September, 20'19, 12:00 AM IST.
Round 3: National Finals or Grand Finale
In this round, all the lucky teams from the Zonal round will have a mentor guiding them to an extent. It will require all the teams to make new changes without changing the whole case study.
They can make adjustments only under the guidance of the mentor.
The submission deadline for this round is 12th September 2019, 11:59 PM IST. Top three teams will bag the tag of National Winner.

What are the Prizes?
- The first prize will include the cash prize of INR 2,50,000.
- The second prize will include the cash prize of INR 1,50,000.
- The third prize will include the cash prize of INR 1,50,000.
