Hindustan Unilever Limited L.I.M.E Challenge Season 9
Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) organizes Lessons in Marketing Excellence (L.I.M.E) in collaboration with CNBC TV 18. This year, 2018, witnessed the 9th edition of the most prestigious B-school competition as per Dare2Compete Awards.
The challenge was open to all 1st and 2nd year students from the selected top B-schools of the country. View the complete list here.
The competition was held in three different stages - Campus round, Semi-finals and the Grand Finale in the time-frame of 6 months. Each team of 3 members was assigned a case study on an HUL FMCG product. The challenge demanded most creative marketing strategies leading to more customer engagement. The teams prepared a presentation and the Jury selected best 2 at the campus round.
In the semi-final round, the HUL mentors assisted the top two teams from different campuses. The teams were given 10 days to complete research and analysis on the case studies. The Jury evaluated the presentations made by the teams from 18 B-schools. Two wildcard entries were permitted in this round from rest of the B-Schools.
Top 4 finalists studied new cases for the Grand Finale held on 12th Jan 2018 and prepared presentations along with an 'Idea on page'. The jury held Q&A session and declared the winners. To know more about the competition click here.
The Jury included the most famous Advertising and Marketing specialists and academicians.
IIM Indore grabbed the winning position, trailed by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai as the first runners-up and Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi as the second runners-up.
The campus winning team was awarded INR 1,00,000 and INR 10,00,000 to Grand finale winner.
Each member of both campus and grand finale winning teams will get an opportunity become an HUL Management Trainee (Unilever Future Leaders Programme in Sales & Marketing) for a second-year student and HUL Internship (Unilever internship leadership Programme in Sales & Marketing) for 1st-year students.
The winning team can participate at an International Level in Unilever Future Leaders’ League – The Unilever case study challenge, and get to meet senior leaders.
A cash prize of INR 3,50,000 would be awarded to the 1st runner-up team and INR 2,00,000 to the 2nd runner-up team and INR 1,50,000 to the 3rd runner-up team.
HUL LIME 2017 ranked first in the Most Prestigious B-School Competitions of the Year 2018 as part of Dare2Compete Awards based on 3600+ student responses from across all B-Schools.
