How an internship at Change Et Al gave me the required skills to build a ChatBot -By Ritik Bharti from XISS Ranchi

Change Et Al is a group of enthusiastic business change specialists with worldwide and diverse industry experience. Regardless of whether it is securing coordination, a greenfield adventure or a total change for an association, Change Et Al trust in consolidating Individuals, Procedure and Culture for a fruitful change. It is a Singapore based initiative and has its presence all over the world. One of the main reasons I chose this internship at Change Et Al was that the job they offered was intriguing and exciting. They also have a platform by the name Bridge Et Al through which they hire freelancers for any project.

What is the selection process for an Internship at Change Et AI?

The selection process for an Internship at Change Et Al had the following components:

1. Group Discussion
2. Two rounds of Personal Interviews

A total of 109 students from my college had opted for the Internship at Change Et Al. The first round was Group Discussion which was followed by 2 Personal Interviews. The interviews were particularly tough as only 2 students got selected. I was lucky to be one of them.

What did I learn during my internship at Change Et Al?

My role during my Internship at Change Et Al was for ChatBot Building and Digital Marketing. For those of who don’t know what a chatbot is, it is a computer program intended to recreate conversations with humans, particularly over the web. Though I have done a lot of Digital Marketing, I never thought I would learn anything as exciting as ChatBot building for a website.

It was absolutely fascinating!

Apart from this I also learned Maynard Operations Sequence Technique (MOST). It is a prearranged movement time framework that is utilized principally in modern settings to set the standard time in which a worker ought to carry out a task. Pretty interesting, right?  

For my Internship at Change Et AI, I moved to Mumbai, the city of dreams. There are many things which one can learn by just walking on the streets of Mumbai. I had to travel by a local train from my place to reach the organization. The journey of two months from the local train taught me to deal with any sort of situation. The experience of travelling on the local train gave me a peek into what my future would be like; hectic but at the same time entertaining.

I made lots of new friends during my Internship at Change Et AI  and really enjoyed their company. The overall experience was great even though the travelling may have been a bit hectic. Since I didn’t experience any difficulties in working here, I would love to join Change Et AI if given the chance. The learning I got here was also unmatched by any other organization!

What did I learn from my mentor during my internship?

My mentor was my pillar of support throughout my journey at Change Et AI. His uncanny ability to be a natural leader and deal with everything in a dignified manner was what impressed me the most. Even though I was an intern, he treated me at par with the employees and was always ready to help me out whenever I had a problem. You will find very few mentors who actually care about you. I was blessed to have one such mentor.
