What is the selection process for an internship at JLT India?
The selection process of JLT India consists of the following three rounds:
- Case Study Based Group Discussion
- Personal Interview
- Short Psychometric test
Clearing all the three rounds was a real test of my endurance level and analytical abilities. My happiness knew no bounds when I was finally selected as an Operations Intern at JLT India.
What was my role during my internship at JLT India?
I secured a position of Operations Intern with this coveted organization. Service Operations is a challenging field and working in this domain requires sheer dedication. The extent of my role was dynamic in the sense that it allowed me to push my boundaries and think outside the box.
Overall, this was a diverse and challenging role that allowed me to dive deep into my passion.
What did I learn during my internship?
I will always be grateful to JLT India because it not only provided me the much-needed exposure but also taught me the art of Strategic Planning. My day-to-day work allowed me to grasp the core ethics of the Business Industry. The value addition was the networking skills that I developed during my internship at JLT India. Overall, my internship at JLT India was a well-rounded experience.
What is the work culture at JLT India?
I moved to a new city to pursue my internship at JLT India. Initially, it was quite tough for me to adapt to new surroundings. But, within a week, I got used to it. My memory of the first team outing goes back to a high-tea session which was arranged for all the interns with the Director of the Company. It was an open forum where all of us were free to share our suggestions. It was quite impressive to know that the Director was aware of even the tiniest details in the various teams under his span and could have a full-fledged conversation about it. This ice-breaking session was an enlightening and enriching experience. I got a chance to connect with new people.
If there was even a slight chance, I would grab the opportunity to work with JLT India without a second thought. JLT India offers endless opportunities and is the best firm to work in the domain of Insurance.
In a nutshell, doing an internship at JLT India was an experience of a lifetime. It allowed me to understand the nitty-gritty of the workings of the Insurance Industry. No other company could offer the hands-on experience that JLT India offered. Moreover, interacting with senior management and gaining their invaluable insights regarding my career was the best aspect of my internship at JLT India.
