What did I learn during my internship?

My internship at Maersk Line India Private Limited, helped me improve my multitasking skills. These ranged from Market Research to cleaning up presentations to interacting with the intent of gaining insights. Equipped with these skills, now I feel more confident as a young professional ready to enter the business world.

Given the domain of my role, I had the fortune to work on my analytical abilities. There has been a boost in my interactive abilities and presentation skills. I would, thus, like to thank my internship at Maersk Line Private Limited for inculcating these skills in me. Not to leave out, there were obviously core learnings attached to my project work and the industry I worked in.

Fortunately, I did not have to move out of my home city to pursue my internship. I was spellbound by the great culture and working environment which I experienced during my internship at Maersk Line Private Limited.

My first team outing was to celebrate the successful scaling of sales targets. The party was fantastic and senior leaders interacted with me regarding not only my project but also my personal and college life. I was completely in awe of the environment since people were super friendly and respectful.

My mentor was quite helpful and guided me at each step during my internship at Maersk Line Private Limited. His approach was unique in the sense that he only briefed me about the objective. He encouraged me to develop my own Modus Operandi. Initially, it seemed difficult, but it did not take me long before realizing the importance of working independently. His suggestions were beneficial. They helped me in analyzing the operational and technical aspects of the project in detail.

To summarise, my internship at Maersk Line Private Limited proved to be a major breakthrough in my career. Now I can confidently say that my opinion regarding any work process has got more business oriented. In short, I have become capable of understanding any situation from a long term perspective and not relying merely on short term solutions.
