HUL Big Brand Theory National Finalist Saharsh Bhanawat's Story

I vividly remember the moment when I received a call from Hindustan Unilever Limited declaring us the National Finalists of HUL Big Brand Theory. I felt a gush of happiness flowing through my veins. Also, it uplifted my confidence a lot more. I felt triumph and determined to work even harder to win.

I have always participated in such great competitions with an aim to win. According to me, such small victories not only provide you with confidence and boost your self-esteem to try new things but also help in learning things which books and classrooms can't teach you. I myself have learned a multitude of things by participating in different competitions.

We carried out a lot of research to understand the need and the practical implications of the solution we were presenting. Also, we tried our level best to align our solution with the latest set of activities HUL was doing in that particular segment because your idea should always be in-line with the idea of the organization you are dealing with.

Our main asset was our team. Each one of us carried a special skill and together, we were undefeatable. Three different talents bundled in one single package. Also, since the two out of three of us have participated in more than 10-15 competitions together, we knew each other's strength to the core. That helped us design a feasible and efficient solution to the given problem.

The HUL office was a wonderland and an aspiration, I felt a sense of achievement being there. There were a total of 8 teams including ours in the finale and we gave each other really tough competition. Overall, I think HUL Big Brand Theory was fair and justified. Everything from the beginning till the end was a learning experience for me.
