IIFT 2019 Entrance Exam dates released
According to the latest report, the entrance exam IIFT 2019 will be conducted on 2nd December 2018. The test paper generally consists of 114 multiple-choice question (MCQs) and the students get 2 hours to complete it. IIFT 2018 entrance exam was conducted in offline (paper-pencil) mode, however, IIFT 2019 might be conducted in an online (computer-based) mode as per the Director of the institute, Prof. Manoj Pant. The exam is likely to be held in more than 20 cities in India.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a completed Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of India with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA for General Category
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste [SC], Scheduled Tribe [ST] and Persons With Disability [PWD] categories) can apply with at least 45 per cent marks
- Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply
The registration for IIFT 2019 is likely to start from the last week of July to continue until the mid of September.
The successful candidates will have to further go through Group Discussion (GD), Writing Skill Assessment and Personal Interview to get an entry to the institution. The process is pretty much like the one followed by IIMs.
