IIFT Accepts CAT 2023 Score: Implications
Prior to the change in the IIFT admission process for 2023, candidates seeking admission to IIFT’s MBA programs had to take an independent IIFT entrance exam, conducted by the NTA. This change in the IIFT admission process 2024 has huge implications for CAT aspirants, specifically those targetting IIFT.
This will mean increased competition for IIFT aspirants. It will also lead to an overall increase in the number of students taking the CAT exam this year.
However, it’s also good news for aspirants who, for various reasons, were unable to take the IIFT entrance exam. They can now apply for admission into IIFT on the basis of their CAT 2023 scores. Last year, the IIFT cutoff for the General category stood at the 40 percentile.
