IIM Ranchi invites applications for its IPM course, 12th pass students eligible to apply

The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of IIM Ranchi is a full-time 5-year blended course of business studies from undergraduate to postgraduate level (Integrated BBA-MBA). Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the program. The intake for IPM 2021-26 batch would be 120 students (Reservation applicable as per GoI regulations after meeting the minimum eligibility criteria). IIM Ranchi has invited applications for its IPM (Integrated Programme in Management) course. The application process will close on 30th June 2021 at their official website. 

Eligibility criteria  

The interested candidates should have passed the 10th and 12th standard exams (or equivalent) with 60% marks. For reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PwD) the minimum eligibility criteria is 55% marks. In both cases, the student's stream or subjects (of class 12th) don’t matter.

Selection criteria

1. The student will have to appear for the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test). It is held 5 times a year (March, May, August, October, December). The aspirants will have to send their official SAT scores through their College Board account to IIM Ranchi.
2. The candidates shortlisted through the SAT exam will have to further take WAT (Written ability test) and a PI (Personal Interview).
3. The candidates will also be assessed on the basis of their prior academic performance at secondary and the higher secondary levels.

The candidates with the highest composite scores in all the above-mentioned criteria will be offered admission to the program.

Course structure

The IPM program at IIM Ranchi is designed to provide a multidisciplinary foundation borrowing from humanities, social sciences, arts, and sciences. The program’s cross-disciplinary business core builds on such a foundation. It comprehensively covers management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, information systems, data science, and strategic management. The students will get the opportunity to learn and grow at a premier business school and develop capabilities.

IPM program fees

The total fees for the first three years of the IPM program of IIM Ranchi will be around INR 14 lakhs. The fees for the next two years will be equal to the MBA program fees set for that year. These fees do not include hostel room rent and mess charges.

Due to the SAT dates clashing with CBSE exam dates and some SAT centers not accepting registrations anymore due to capacity constraints, the aspirants of the IIM Ranchi IPM program are facing issues. The conducting body is working on resolving them on an urgent basis.
