IIM Shortlist 2020: Check your result here!

Tapping your toes nervously, fidgeting with the pen you have in your hand, you check your phone’s notifications every 30 seconds. “No new notifications”, it displays for a while until the news you had been waiting for, since time immemorial, finally pops up - “IIM shortlist 2020 out now!”

Amidst the ongoing pandemic where uncertainty hovers above the heads of billions, IIM Kozhikode announced that the IIMs will release their shortlist from today, i.e., from 8th May 2020, on the basis of CAT 2019 scores. With CAT done and dusted in late November last year, aspirants all across the country had eagerly been awaiting this day - the day their efforts will pay off and they will officially land the college of their dreams. And here it is - the “all’s well that ends well” moment. 

The shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly and the offer of admission will be made via email. Following are the colleges that have released their PI shortlist. Candidates can log in with their application number and email ID to view the PI shortlist.

This year, the Common Admission Test, popular as CAT, was conducted by IIM Kozhikode. Yesterday, the institute released a notification that revealed the date of the announcement of the shortlist - 8th May 2020. Due to the sudden outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, various IIMs had conducted their admission processes online through various video calling platforms.

Keeping the current situation of the country in mind, some IIMs like IIM Lucknow also decided to eliminate the WAT round from the admission process and conducted only the Personal Interview through video calls. The result of CAT 2019, which was conducted on 24th November, was announced on January 4, 2020.
