IIT Delhi and NITIE Mumbai have coordinated and are ready to launch a joint post-graduate diploma programme. The programme is for the executives - the Visionary Leaders for Manufacturing (PGPEX-VLFM). The registrations for the new PG-diploma programme will commence from September 21st, 2020, and will end on October 20th, 2020. Aspiring candidates are required to visit both the official websites - iitd.ac.in and nitie.edu. 

What is the eligibility criteria?

The PG-diploma programme is for engineers who have experience of 5-12 years in the domain of manufacturing. This is a one-year full-time residential programme. 

After the candidates fill their application forms, they will be shortlisted for the admission test and a personal interview round. These are scheduled to be held between October 26th to October 28th this year. The joint diploma course is all set to begin from the 2nd week of February, 2021.

Invite for industry-sponsored candidates  

The candidates who are sponsored by the industry will also have seats available for admissions into the course. The candidates who are sponsored by their specific industries must show their Letter of Sponsorship at the time of the application process. They have to register and fill in the ‘Sponsorship Form’ that is available on the website of the concerned programme. 

Programme highlights

The joint PG-diploma programme aims to build leadership for manufacturing excellence and will provide a learning pedagogy filled with experience, along with industry connect. The extraordinary combination of Industrial Engineering in IIT Delhi and technological expertise in NITIE Mumbai makes this programme one of its kind.

The course is inclusive of industry treks, international visits, and other internships that are bound to hone the industrial and manufacturing skill set of the candidates concerned.
