IIT Delhi students build a real-life JARVIS from Ironman

Recent times have seen a significant change in how a company operates. There has been a radical shift from the conventional ways of approaching and doing things due to the burgeoning technology and the need for advancement. The technology of today’s world has seeped inside every domain, be it medicine, academia, and many more. More significant technology penetration is seen in more prominent firms at so many levels. One such level is Human Resource Management, which is no longer a stranger to evolving technologies.

Of late, more and more companies are trying new ways to improve their organizational flow and employee engagement. These are significant aspects for a company to function smoothly. Earlier, Human Resource management used to struggle to achieve these goals but not anymore. Students from IIT Delhi founded UAE-based Leena AI which enhances employee experience through HR helpdesk automation and software dedicated to employee engagement.

Adit Jain, Mayank Goyal, and Anand Prajapati launched Leena AI in India but shifted its base to California in 2018. Expansion of their company led them to the successful corridors of the Middle East in 2019, where they set up their headquarters in Dubai.

How does Leena AI work?

It is the J.A.R.V.I.S to your Iron Man! Imagine having an assistant that takes care of your logistic needs almost instantly, saves your time and efforts, and guarantees efficiency. Leena AI does exactly that for you; their software has revolutionized HR Management.

In essence, the platform aids staff in resolving common issues including leave eligibility, remaining leave, payslips for the month, and IT system maintenance. This lessens the need to enter information into challenging HR systems or bombard the HR staff with emails. The AI will start working as soon as they hear "Hey Leena".

Leena AI, according to Jain, can be compared to HR automation. Instead of going to the HR manager, an employee can use it to handle issues like asking for new laptops and other operational questions.

Based on employee needs, businesses and organizations approach Leena AI with particular requirements and return with customized solutions and offerings on the platform, with a detailed report on the money saved.

Road ahead!

In the Middle East and North Africa region, Leena AI is available in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Egypt. In September 2021, the business closed a $30 million Series B funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with the continued participation of existing investor Greycroft and the addition of the B Capital Group.

In the following three to five years, Leena AI wants to develop into a product that adds value. "Our goal is to develop a J.A.R.V.I.S. for each employee of the company. And we are moving swiftly in that direction," says Jain.

If they could, so can you! Live out your Marvel dreams and let the innovation flow into reality.
