Well, if you want to pursue an engineering degree, the answer is no. However, the IITs offer a host of other courses for which JEE Mains/ Advance is not required.

The IITs offer full-time courses in computer science, design, and humanities as well as several short-term certificate courses in which there is no need for a JEE score!

1. B. Des
B.Des is one of the most popular non-JEE courses offered by the IITs. It's a 4-yr-course ( just like B.Tech) in Design and admissions are based on the UCEED entrance exams. Students from all streams who have qualified for the class 12 exams are eligible to apply for UCEED. There is, however, a limit of 3 times on the number of attempts one can take the UCEED exam.
2. B.Sc. Data Science at IIT Madras
The flagship B.Sc in Data Science course at IIT Madras is open to students in classes 11, 12 & college. Working professionals and those who are taking a career break are also eligible to apply. In order to apply for the course, qualification in the class 12 exam by May 2022 is mandatory. The first step is to appear for the entrance exam (No IIT JEE required), after which the selected candidates can start the course as soon as they complete class 12.
3. Olympiad Exams
IITs have started giving weightage to the international Olympiad examinations for certain courses. For instance, the 2018 batch of B.Sc Mathematics at IIT Bombay had several candidates who were allowed to apply with their Olympiad scores instead of IIT JEE. Even though it is yet to be unanimously accepted by all the IITs, discussions are underway to make it an acceptable criterion for IIT admissions.
4. M.A. in Society and Culture
The M.A. in Society and Culture course at IIT Gandhinagar is one of the coolest humanities courses offered by IITs. There is a separate entrance exam for this course and students need not appear for the IIT JEE exams. Students from any discipline with a Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for the course. It is a great option for tech students who want to switch to a humanities discipline and explore new career possibilities.
5. M.A. in Liberal Arts at IIT Guwahati
