SRIP 2022: IIT Gandhinagar Invites Applications For Its Paid Summer Internship Program

IIT Gandhinagar has released a notification inviting eligible candidates to apply for its summer internship i.e. SRIP (Summer Research Internship Program) 2022. It is a flagship program of IIT Gandhinagar that strives to bring together students and faculty from prominent institutions across the country.

Requirements for IIT Gandhinagar Summer Internship

• During the summer internship, the applicants are required to work with one of the IIT Gandhinagar faculties. Applicants are advised to review the list of participating faculty along with the description of projects being offered.
• Applicants may apply for the summer internship based on their interests and prior experience. They are free to apply for projects outside of their declared degree specializations.
• Applicants will be required to make a presentation to the institute and submit a report at the end of the summer internship.

Mode of conduct of SRIP 2022 at IIT Gandhinagar

SRIP 2022 will be conducted in the offline mode where in the students are expected to work on the project in-person and interact with the faculty mentor on a regular basis while staying on campus. This mode is open to all the students i.e. internal as well as external. 

Provisions for IIT Gandhinagar Summer Internship

• The interns will be paid a weekly stipend of Rs. 2000 after completion of the summer internship. The stipend for faculty funded projects, however, may vary. 
• Hostel accommodation will be provided to the summer interns.
• Students will be required to pay the applicable hostel charges for the accomodation provided.
